Teaching art at Tacoma Art Place helps to grow the arts community in Tacoma. Because we are a non-profit art center, local art suppliers including the Bead Factory, Tacoma Art Supply, and Lambs Ear Yarns have been very generous, donating materials to support classes. Our goal is to make art affordable for everyone. Yes, you can earn an income teaching art at Tacoma Art Place—just keep the class affordable. Instructors at Tacoma Art Place are independent contractors and/or volunteers. You can teach once a month or once a year. It is up to you.
